How do I restore my purchase?
Open the app → tap the ⚙ settings icon on the home screen → tap Restore Purchase. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account you used when you first purchased.
What does the $0.99 unlock include?
A single one-time payment unlocks everything permanently: Campaign levels 4–20, all 5 free-play layouts, Endless mode, Time Attack mode, and all 5 tile themes. No subscriptions, no additional purchases ever.
How does Shisen-Sho work?
Tap two identical tiles to connect them. The path between them must have at most two 90° bends and cannot pass through other tiles. Clear the entire board to win.
The board is stuck — no moves left. What do I do?
Tap the Shuffle button at the bottom of the game screen. It rearranges the remaining tiles while keeping all symbols intact. There's no penalty for shuffling.
My progress disappeared after reinstalling.
Game progress is saved locally on your device. Reinstalling the app clears local data. However, your purchase is permanently recorded by Apple / Google — tap Restore Purchase to re-unlock premium content at no charge.
How do I earn 3 stars on a campaign level?
Stars are based on time and helpers used. Finish quickly (under the target time) without using hints, shuffles, or undos for all 3 stars.
Does the game require an internet connection?
No. Mahjong Zen works completely offline. The only time an internet connection may be needed is when making or restoring an in-app purchase.
